Traduction: 1995 make ???? nylon string model. As for the top the solid fern -, OP-24 is used for the pre-amp. Also relatively raw sound becomes with the mid- depth body. The existence impression in the lead/read play as expected is with the thick sound where ???? it seems. One place you can see the scar which is thought that under the bridge it was attached at the time of chord exchange, but the other than of that is the beauty item which is not either the scar which is conspicuous. Remainder ???? of the nylon string which is not happened to see, it is the buying profitable used item. As for detailed picture ???. I do not know the exact history of this guitar but 3 copies seems to have been made. Probably built in the late ç90's. The neck is made of carbon and the holes are directly inspired of the Prototype #23 whom is at the factory in New Hartford. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any information about this rare model.

These photos come from an ad published in Japan years ago. If you are the owner, please feel free to contact me. Here's here's the original description translate from Japanese: This instrument appears to be a prototype of the limited edition NV-681 ARB, produced in 1994. The NV-681 ARB was a special project commissioned by Nakao Boeki (the authorized Japanese distributor at the time) titled the "NAKAO SPECIAL ADAMAS CENTURY." That limited run of 50 guitars was famous for using Old-Growth Sitka Spruce for the top board—wood that had already been seasoned for over 100 years since being harvested. Unique Prototype Characteristics While this specific guitar shares the same high-end specs, it lacks the "CENTURY" logo on the fingerboard and does not have an internal label. These factors strongly suggest it is a pre-production sample (prototype). Unlike the final production model, this is a pure acoustic version with no electronics mounted. Since approximately 25 years have passed since it was built, the top wood is now over 120 years old. Specifications & Condition Body: Brown Non-Cutaway, Deep Bowl. Neck: 2-piece Center-join Mahogany with a comfortable "Regular Grip" (approx. 42mm nut width). Fingerboard: Ebony. Bridge: Carving-free Walnut. Hardware: Gold-plated Schaller Rotomatic tuners (excellent condition, smooth operation). Soundhole: Signature Epaulette style. Wear: The nut, saddle, and frets are all original with almost no wear. The satin finish shows some minor glossing and surface scuffs, but there is no structural damage. Playability & Sound The neck is straight, and the truss rod is fully functional with plenty of room for adjustment. The action is currently set very low for effortless playability: 6th String at 12th Fret: 2.2mm 1st String at 12th Fret: 1.4mm The Sound: Thanks to the Deep Bowl design and the elite tonewood selection, the unplugged projection is powerful. The bass is massive and resonant, vibrating against your chest, while the highs are crisp and brilliant. While the Adamas series is already highly regarded for its acoustic tone, this dedicated acoustic-only prototype offers a uniquely captivating sound.

Many Thanks to Steve in Palatine/IL/USA for these very nice photos and for his help. This guitar was given by one of the founders of Hamer Guitars Jol Dantzig who got it as a gift from the then President of Kaman Aerospace, music division (Ovation Guitars) Bill Kaman. The story goes that it was intended for the Artist market only and was never mass produced and may even be a one of a kind (produced only for the president of Ovation) if not one of a small quantity (possibly under 10)
Year: 1982
I would like to thank Greg Rupp for giving me permission to publish photos of this fantastic Adamas Wood Top prototype. It is worth noting that this is a purely acoustic model and is likely one of the test units produced before the 1537 Elite model went into production the following year. This unique guitar was reportedly produced around 1982 and is, in my opinion, among the most beautiful Ovations ever built. 👍🏻👍🏻
Year: 1982
So many thanks to Jean-Claude Couret from France who gave me the authorization for publishing these pictures of this unique guitar. This model has been ordered at the factory in 1982 by Marcel Dadi. This guitar is usually called "La Citron" (The Lemon) because of its yellow color. Marcel playing this outstanding Adamas at the Olympia in 1988 (with Jean-Felix Lalanne). Signed by Marcel Dadi & Chet Atkins.

Adamas II Slothead 1681-8 #1914. I'm the lucky owner of this beauty . Many thanks to my friend Dave who sold it to me. Dave, you know that she's in good hands... Here's Dave's original description: "The 33 pre-production Adamas guitars built in 1976 are collectively called the Adamas Slotheads. These hand made guitars set the stage for all to follow. Ironically, nothing that followed could surpass the original. These Slotheads are without question the most sought after Ovations in existence. However, there never was an Adamas II version of the Slothead - until now. What you see below is a one of a kind custom that I had built in 2003. It started life as a 1982 Adamas II model 1681-8. I had the neck and 2-knob electronics removed. New FD14 direct out pre-amp was installed and a completely custom neck was fabricated. The slothead neck is 1-3/4 inch width and adorned with walnut Elite style inlays. The slotted headstock is also faced in walnut. The sound of an already legendary Adamas is taken to the next level with the new neck and electronics. While it may not have the same detailed finishing's as the original Slothead, this custom Adamas II Slothead leaves nothing more to be desired sonically." (Built in 1981 / Modified in 2003)

Ovation Adamas I C1687-S8 Cutaway Prototype #1803-90. So many thanks to "Aussie James" from Australia, the lucky owner of that gorgeous guitar and to Jim Cannon from USA for the very nice photos!! Dated from 06 March 1980, that guitar is an Adamas prototype with a one of a kind cutaway. As you can see, the cutaway is very special and the 2 markers beside the 2 knobs of the pre-amp are the first I've ever seen with that design. The Kaman Mucic Group label is signed by Charles H. Kaman and his son Bill Kaman. That guitar is a great piece of Ovation History!!!! (03-06-1980)
