These photos, most likely dating from 1973 or 1974, were given to me by Denis Bouvier, a true enthusiast of the brand and the first distributor of Ovation in France in the early 1970s. They capture an atmosphere from another era, showcasing the very first Breadwinner models featuring the output jack on the inner edge of the guitar body. In the second photo, you can see Marcel Dadi playing an Ovation. Now over 50 years old, these images stand as a testament to the brand's early days in France. Interestingly, the amplifier seen in the first photo is now sitting in my home... 😉
