Ovation EA68 Viper & '94 Collector's Guitar Review – TGM UK Magazine

1994 UK 3 pages

This is a UK music magazine review (likely The Guitar Magazine) covering two Ovation electro-acoustic guitars: the thinline semi-solid EA68 Viper (RRP £1495) and the '94 Collector's bowlback (RRP £1249). The review by Jerry Uwins details construction, sound characteristics, and the debut of Ovation's new Optima preamp on the Collector's model. A factfile with dimensions, specifications, and a 'Check Out' sidebar comparing competing hybrid electro-acoustics is also included.
