Improved guitar headstock tuning machine head design where the adjusting handle axis of rotation is inclined rearwardly relative to the fingerboard plane at an angle between 90 and 180 degrees to the winding peg axis, making tuning more ergonomic by allowing handles to fall naturally to the player hand without uncomfortable wrist flexion.
