Ovation Celebrity CS2000 Electro-Acoustic - Guitar Mag Review
Year: 2000
A detailed UK magazine review of the Ovation Celebrity CS2000, a limited-edition mid-depth bowlback electro-acoustic guitar made in Korea with an arched figured maple top and OP-24+ preamp, retailing at £549. The review covers the guitar's distinctive arched top (a first for Ovation), its laminated figured maple construction, tonal characteristics, and the versatile OP-24+ preamp system. The verdict notes it as a distinctive, well-turned-out instrument that sounds like a traditional bowlback with a flexible preamp offering broader tonal nuances.
