Year: 1973

This document consists of a series of acoustic frequency response test charts produced by Ovation Instruments, measuring guitar body resonance and sound output across a wide frequency range (approximately 41 Hz to 9372 Hz). The charts compare different bracing configurations and deflection measurements for the 1117-4 model with A-bracing, including dual-microphone measurements (front soundhole and back panel) for the first production run unit #013983. Handwritten annotations indicate sound quality ratings and notes such as 'rated #2 in sound selection' and 'resonance is higher than 013983', suggesting these were internal quality control and research documents dated around 1973.
