80s Ovation Logo "die-cut sticker"

This is a transfer decal where only the letters are adhesive. I'm not sure what it was used for (decorative or promotional?) or even when it was made, but I think it's from the late 70s or early 80s. If you've ever seen a sticker like this before and have any information, feel free to reach out to me. 😉
