Sub-£600 Electros Review: Ovation Celebrity Deluxe CS24

1999 UK 6 pages

A UK guitar magazine review comparing three sub-£600 electro-acoustic guitars: the Ovation Celebrity Deluxe CS247 (£579), Landola ACE80 (£599), and Yamaha CPX7 (£599). The review covers construction, playability, and sound characteristics of each instrument, with detailed factfiles including dimensions and specifications. The verdict concludes that while all three cost the same, they sound very different, with the Yamaha offering fluid open-voiced poise, the Ovation performing predictably well as an electro, and the Landola standing out as a versatile acoustic-electric dark horse.
