Ovation Custom Balladeer & 1993 Collectors Series Review - Guitarist Magazine October 1993

1993 UK 3 pages

A review from the October 1993 issue of Guitarist magazine, written by Rick Batey, covering two Ovation USA-made guitars: the Custom Balladeer (Model 1860) priced at £849 and the 1993 Collectors Series priced at £1,099. The review examines the bodies, necks, acoustic sound, and electronics of both guitars, noting the Custom Balladeer's shallow bowl and spruce top versus the Collectors Series' medium-deep Adamas-style bowl and decorative leaf motifs. Detailed spec sheets are provided for both models, with contact information for UK distributor TE.D. in Maldon, Essex.
