This is a UK music press instrument review of the Ovation Patriot 6-string acoustic guitar, a limited edition of 1,776 units produced as Ovation's tribute to the U.S.A.'s Bicentenary in 1976. The review covers the guitar's unique Lyrachord fiberglass bowl back construction, its Connecticut Nutmeg Sitka spruce top, and its ebony fingerboard with fine fret work.
