Applause Summit AE128 vs Aria MBA-21 Review - Guitar Mag

1996 UK 4 pages

A comparative review from a UK guitar magazine (likely Guitar magazine, circa 1996) by Jerry Uwins, evaluating the Applause Summit AE128 (£269) and the Aria MBA-21 (£299) electro-acoustic bowlback guitars. The review covers construction, sound characteristics, and playability of both instruments, concluding that the Applause has a punchier acoustic sound while the Aria offers more versatile electro performance. A factfile with full specifications and dimensions is included alongside a 'Check Out' sidebar listing competing bowlback models available in the UK market.
