Merci à Patrick "Patch" des USA pour ces superbes photos --------------------------------------------------------------- Many Thanks to Patrick "Patch" from USA for these nice pictures Description: One of the very few mandolins done in the trim package used for the book “History of the Ovation Guitar”; this particular instrument was sent to the Ovation factory in New Hartford to refinish the hand-rubbed satin finish in a high gloss. The results are aesthetically stunning. Pictures were taken at the factory and in the Hudson Valley of New York. Sitting next to it in some photographs is its cousin, a “Book” Elite 1768-LTD with a nearly identical trim package. The guitar is featured elsewhere on this site and is customized with a gloss neck and carved ebony bridge. The picture of the pair on the rock wall was taken at the factory and was used for the cover of the Ovation Fan Club 2010 Calendar. |
