Description: "This guitar was a custom rebuild and is labeled as a 1713-X. This beautiful deep-bowled instrument has a figured Redwood topped, non-cutaway, 12-fret, 1 3/4 inch nut, OP-pro studio, tortoise binding and abalone purfling. Acoustically, it is similar to cedar but with a little more bass and a LOT more sustain. It has A-bracing, something I cannot find on other Ovation nylon stringers. Overall, it has a very pleasing balance throughout the tonal spectrum, being neither too bassy nor too bright." |
